How
to be a Glendale Community College Student
Who
Must File An Application
If
you have never attended Glendale Community College.
If
you are a returning student who has not applied or enrolled during
the SPRING 2008 semester.
Continuing
students do not have to apply for admission.
Please
note International (F-1) visa students should not complete
this section. Instead International students should refer to the
separate Application
Form and instructions.
Who
May Be Admitted
The
following persons are welcome to attend Glendale Community College:
High
School Graduates.
Persons
with California High School Proficiency Certificates.
Persons
with General Education Development Certificates (G.E.D).
Persons
eighteen years of age or older who can benefit from the instruction
offered.
High
School Students
High
School students are welcome to apply. They are required to complete
and submit the following items:
Application
for Admissions -AND-
A
completed Recommendation for Admission of Selected Student Form (.doc/.pdf)
-AND-
A
completed Authorization and Consent for Treatment of a Minor Form
(.doc/.pdf)
High
school transcripts (Student must have a 2.0 cumulative high school
GPA.)
How
to Apply for Admission
There
are two ways to submit an Admissions Application:
ONLINE
IN
PERSON with a paper application at the Office of Admissions and Records,
located in the Administration Building, 1st floor.
1.
Before applying, please have the following items available:
Social
Security Number
INS
information (if born outside US)
Residency
will be determined according to your answers to certain
questions, please answer all questions to the best of your
ability. If necessary, the Admissions and Records office
will ask you to provide evidence of your INS documentation
and/or your physical presence in California.
4.
Submit your application by clicking on the
button.
If you have successfully completed your application, you will
be linked to our Signature Form, which you will have to print,
complete and mail to the college.
This symbol appears next to many of the
fields on the application. If you have questions about that
particular field, just click on the symbol and a new browser
window will appear with detailed field specific information.

Processing
Time
After
your signature form has arrived in our office, allow 10 working
days for processing. (excluding Saturday, Sunday and Holidays)
Your
registration information will be mailed to you.
