Application


To apply for the MASTER scholarship program, you must complete a two-part application form which includes a student application (pages 1 and 2) and a teacher recommendation form (pages 3 and 4). Each part can be completed on a computer and printed out. You must also apply for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Please visit http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ to apply online.

What you need in order to get into the program:
• A declared Science, Engineering, or Mathematics (SEM) major
• A demonstrated financial need
• A 2.5 grade point average (GPA) or better
• College placement in Intermediate Algebra or higher
• A U.S. citizen or permanent resident

What you need to stay in the program:
• Maintaining a GPA of 2.5 or better
• Full-time enrollment each semester in 12 units or more, 9 of which
apply to degree attainment or transfer
• Good progress in SEM classes
