*   THEATRE ARTS STUDENT SHOWCASE.  Acting Fundamentals II and Voice for the Actor.  Auditorium Studio Theatre.   7 p.m.  Free admission.  Limited seating. 

*   CHAMBER MUSIC RECITAL.  Music performed by ensembles from the chamber music class.  Coordinated by Dr. Paul Sherman.  Auditorium room 211.  7:30 p.m.  Admission is free.

*   VERDUGO FIRE ACADEMY career planning seminar.  The meetings provide      information about the academy and the application process.  Glendale Fire Station 21, 421 Oak St., Glendale.  10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

*   LIBRARY WORKSHOPS: “Evaluating Sources.” 11:15 a.m. and “Citing Sources.” 12:45 p.m. LB 313.

*   SPRING CERAMICS SALE.  Decorative and functional pieces made by students in stoneware, porcelain, majolica, raku and earthenware.  Proceeds from the sale help fund equipment and supplies for the ceramics program.  Student Center room 212.  1 to 5 p.m. 

*   VOCAL JAZZ AND GUITAR CONCERT with the Vocal Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Vocal Workshop and Jazz Guitar Ensemble led by directors Clare and Byron Delto. Auditorium.  7:30 p.m.  General admission is $10 and $7 for students and seniors.

*   CONCERT SINGERS PERFORMANCE led by Dr. Peter Green.  St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 1020 N. Brand Blvd., Glendale.  4 p.m.  Admission is $15 general and $10 for students and seniors.
