In addition, I would like to play an active role in the college's efforts to further the environmental movement/agenda on campus. Favorite Sport: Badminton Favorite Music: Various genres, but mainly anything from the 60's through the 80's. Favorite modern bands include: Interpol, Bright Eyes, and Teagan & Sara. I love to read philosophical writings, but I also enjoy fictional writings. Goals for semester: My goal is to keep doing exactly what I've been doing which got me to this point in my academic career; concentrate on the important things in my life, and not get sidetracked by unimportant ones. Favorite Sport: Basketball, Football (the kind with touchdowns.) Favorite Music: I love all kinds of music; particularly ones that I can dance too, or ones that have meaningful lyrics. What may I hope?" -Immanuel Kant What inspired you to join AGS?: As a returning student to GCC my initial appeal to AGS was due to the level of maturity and passion for education its members expressed. At every level of my life I desire to be involved with the community in which I live. I believe that surrounding yourself with the right people in life is also a primary ingredient of success, and that the purpose of life goes beyond visual stimulation and material possessions. Being involved with AGS is one component of my life but not the only, yet it remains as an important aspect, which its experience I will enjoy for many years to come. |

I also would like to help encourage more student s to participate as active members. Favorite Sport: Basketball/Dance Favorite Music: I don’t have a favorite singer or genre, but I simply appreciate all kinds of music.
