2009- Vaqueros Finish 25-18,

8 Vaqueros Named to All-Conference Team

2010- Looking to Replace 9 Starters...

The Vaquero Baseball program has an outstanding reputation and tradition. The coaching staff takes extreme pride in their ultimate goal of having a 100% transfer rate of all sophomore student-athletes to the four-year level or into professional baseball.  GCC's  Conference Championships have come in 1980, 1998, 1999, 2001 and 2002.  In 2002, Glendale hosted its first JC Playoff Regional in school history.

The team practices and plays across the street from the GCC campus at Stengel Field. Stengel Field is in a prime location for professional and collegiate scouts to evaluate and recruit players. Stengel Field is a 1,500+ capacity stadium with lights for night games. GCC baseball players have full access to the clubhouse underneath the stadium. The clubhouse is equipped with 33 lockers, video equipment, TVs, DVD players, study tables, showers and bathrooms. It provides a wonderful environment for team chemistry.

Any male student interested in becoming a member of the Glendale College athletic family should contact Head Baseball Coach Chris Cicuto (818) 240-1000 ext. 5693 - baseball@glendale.edu or Athletic Director John Cicuto (ext. 5376).
