The
Business Division offers transfer and vocational
curriculum in six disciplines: Accounting,
Business
Administration, Computer
Applications and Business Office Technologies
(formerly Business
Office Technology), Computer
Science-Information Systems, Cooperative
Education and Real
Estate. Each discipline offers
courses which can lead a student to the achievement of
an AA/AS degree or to the completion of a variety of
certificates as well as providing the general education
requirements for lower division transfer to many
colleges and universities.
Each discipline
studies the field of business from a different perspective.
Courses are designed to support the college
mission: to
encourage the development of intellectual curiosity,
critical thinking, effective communication, and an
understanding of the past and the challenges of the
future.
The Business
Division
strives to help students develop critical thinking and
valuable business skills, teaching the practical
application of business tools and strategies.
The division's outstanding faculty
includes graduates from some of the most prestigious
business universities in the nation.
