Cheryl Andersen was married to Peter O'Colmain on March 23, 2002 at the Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church. Together they have three children; Graham (22), Malaika (20), Brendan (16). Congratulations Cheryl and Peter!

Babies in the air...

Pamela Boehret’s daughter Tiffany and husband Tom Bakas, and their son Nikola—Scott Michael was born on January 2, 2002, 7 lbs. 6 oz, 19 3/4 in.

Pamela Boehret’s son Jason and wife Lisa Boehret, and their son Luke—Cassidy Ashlyn was born on March 11, 2002 , 7 lbs., 19 3/4 in.

Celeste Brenner’s daughter,  Roberta and husband Paul Godeck, and their sons Adam and Zackery—Breann Nicole was born on April 20, 2002, 6 lbs. 12 oz, 20 in.

Amber Casolari gave birth to Dominick Nunzio Casolari on Thursday evening April 4, 2002. He weighed in at 10 lbs. 9 oz and was 21 1/2 in. long (and was one week early). Dominick has taken his mom home to join the rest of the family.

Michael Coler’s daughter Ann and husband Sean Briggs—Seamus Floyd was born on January 9, 2002, 6 lbs., 21 in.

Good news...

Mona Field's daughter, Tania Verafield, a sophomore at UC Berkeley, will star as Olivia in Twelfth Night at Cal in May.

Murray Levy has been elected president of The South Pasadena Kiwanis Club. He also completed a 22 week course in zoology and is a docent at the LA Zoo. His son Justin has been accepted at UC Santa Barbara.

Kimberly Scarfe, the oldest daughter of Donna Scarfe, Sign Language Interpreting Coordinator for GCC, has just been accepted for graduate study at the University of York, in York, England. Ms. Scarfe had done a junior year abroad at the University as an English literature major last year and enjoyed it so much she was determined to get back for further study. She graduates from Claremont McKenna College this May and will do her graduate degree in writing for production.

GCC Photoshop instructor and professional photographer Michael E. Stern earned "guru" status from his peers at the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP) Photoshop World Conference in San Diego. He received the Photoshop World Guru Award for Excellence in Photoshop Design for his collage splash screen entry. Stern was given a trophy, certificate and mention in the trade magazine. He is teaching Imaging with Photoshop II at the college this spring.
