Dr. Ernest (Bud) Horton Jr., professor emeritus of philosophy, has published a paper, “Major Concepts of the Ethiopic Liturgy.” It can be read on the website www.glendale.edu/philosophy/ethiopic.htm. Copies are also available at the Library reserve desk.

A painting by Martin Mondrus, professor emeritus of art, won the best-of-show award in landscape-oils at the Pasadena Society of Artists’ Diamond Jubilee and 75th Annual Juried Exhibition.  Jeffery “Michael” Jensen, a GCC adjunct librarian and abstract painter, also has work in the show. The exhibition will continue until June 16 at the Pasadena Historical Museum, 470 West Walnut Street, in Pasadena.  

Bob Taylor’s son, Sergeant Dave Taylor USMC, has just completed an advanced class in jungle combat training at Camp Pendleton Marine Base. He and his weapons company are awaiting assignment. Dave attended Glendale College in 1990-92.
