Oracle has the option for you to change your password. This
option is available in GCC Employee Self-Service by clicking on
the Preferences link, located on the top right-hand corner of
the screen.
Is using Self-Service

The security features for Self-Service are standard with other
industries and approved by ORACLE. When you click the Login
button, your username and password are encrypted (made
unreadable) using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. A
firewall is used to prevent unauthorized workstations from
accessing the system. We will continue to ensure that the most
updated security technology is used to safeguard information
residing on the computer.

Can
Oracle limit the number of attempts to log in?
Yes, after five attempts, it will not allow you to continue. If
you are locked out of the system, please contact the Help Desk
at ext. 4357 for assistance.
Can you view the employee, beneficiary, and dependent's social
security number on the screens?
The social security information cannot be viewed on the screen.
Why does Personal Necessity (PN) show as PN and Sick Leave?
It appears that the time that is taken is deducted twice.
You're not docked twice. PN is a part of Sick Leave. Any time
you use PN you are deducting time from your sick leave
allowance.
