Jack Adams
Jack Adams began his entertainment industry career by giving the world’s worst pitch. After practicing what he preaches, Jack has become a pitching machine – and not just fast balls, either. Having done hundreds of pitches in his career, Jack is the author of screenplays, television pilots, books, magazine articles, multimedia projects and Internet publications, Jack Adams an award-winning producer, director, composer and sound designer. Listed in Marquis’ Who’s Who in Entertainment, Jack was president of the writers' workshop at NBC, Vice President of Development at Unifilms, and named Teacher of the Year at Learning Tree University. He even taught screenwriting inside Lancaster Prison (as a California Arts Council consultant, not as an inmate!), and judged their screenwriting competition (talk about a tough room!). His seminars and workshops are presented nationally (including Northwestern University, Elderhostel, Loyola College, San Diego State University and many more venues). Jack is a keynote speaker, panel moderator, panelist and facilitator at writers’ workshops around the country, and has guided his Writers Anonymous support group for the past fourteen years.
