Joe Taglieri
Joe Taglieri began playing drums at the age of 11. He's taught and performed locally since his teenage years, and is well educated in the performance and history of music. An experienced percussionist (congas, cajon, bongo, cowbells, timbales, maracas, guiro, shekere, clave, drum set), he's taught and performed locally since his teenage years. He teaches the fundamental hand techniques and basic rhythm patterns for a variety of musical styles including Latin rhythms, Salsa, Afro-Carribean rhythms (La Rumba, Bomba, Plena). His classes are a lot of fun, captivatingly interesting and soul-cleansing.
