work is filled with the satisfaction of meeting challenges and solving
problems. This growing field offers a great opportunity for
specialization in many fields including:
The
Electronics and Computer Technology (ECT) program is a well-established
program at Glendale Community College. Offering students opportunities
in many fields of Electronics and Computer Technology, the extensive
curriculum covers the total spectrum of electronics, from fundamental
electronic circuit concepts through advanced integrated circuit and
microprocessor technology, including applications in communications.
The
Computer Technology section gives students the opportunity to master all
aspects of computer electronics, from computer logic to advanced
microprocessors, to computer repair and network troubleshooting courses.
There are also programs to prepare students for certifications, such as
A+ and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).

science degree in Electronics and Computer Technology and/or an
Engineering transfer plan to a university for a bachelor’s degree.
We

Submit
an application for admission
Obtain
an application for admission at the information desk, main lobby of
administration building or apply online at www.glendale.edu.
For financial aid, contact the Financial Aid Office.
Complete
assessment
Fill
out an assessment self-referral form at the Assessment Center in San
Fernando Complex 111 and take appropriate tests.
Complete
orientation
Computerized
orientation is available online at www.glendale.edu/orientation
or at the Assessment Center (SF 111) or attend an orientation workshop
(818-240-1000 x5918 to schedule) or enroll in Student Development 100.
Meet
with a counselor
Make
an appointment to see a counselor: Academic Counseling 818-240-1000
x5918. Make sure to bring required information.
Register
for classes
Obtain
a class schedule at the bookstore or information desk, main lobby of
administration building, and register for classes using STARS telephone
system – 818-545-7777 and pay fees.
