This certificate is designed for those students wishing to prepare for employment in the commercial ceramic industry. Emphasis in the coursework is on job-related skills such as production forming techniques,
surface design techniques, glaze formulation and application, chemical safety, and kiln
technology. The certificate is also designed for those setting up their own production studios to work as independent artists.
