TELEVISION PRODUCTION
VIDEOGRAPHY


The Television Production curriculum is designed to prepare students for a career in the television industry. Typical entry-level positions would be Production Assistant or Assistant Editor. The program is also suited for those desiring employment as independent video producers/directors.

  MEDIA 101 Introduction to Video Production 3
MEDIA 101 or equivalent MEDIA 104 Video Production Practicum 3
  MEDIA 107 Introduction to Audio Production 3
MEDIA 103 or equivalent MEDIA 112 Digital Video Editing 3
  PHOTO 101 Introduction to Photography 3
  Select 3 units from the following
ART 130 ART 131 Design II 3
Completion of 12 units with 2.5 or better GPA and concurrent enrollment in 3 additional units (if taken in summer, concurrent enrollment is not required). CO ED 102 Occupational Work Experience 2
Enrollment in 7 units including CO ED and concurrent employment for a minimum of 5 hrs per week  MEDIA 050 Internship 3
  MEDIA 111 Interactive Multimedia I 3
PHOTO 101 or equivalent PHOTO 103 Intermediate Photography 3
T ART 133 or equivalent T ART 134 Practical and Theoretical Aspects of Stage Lighting 2
