Vons Market, Glendale Donates $3,400 to the GCC Learning CenterDecember 6, 2001
Learning Center Director Dennis Doyle, College VP Larry Serot, and Tutoring Coordinator Betty Myers accept a check from Matt Cook, manager of the Vons Glendale Store.
Vons partners with local institutions to "give back" to their local community. Funds are collected by employee deductions.
The money will help supplement funds toward salaries of additional student tutors. Thanks very much to Matt Cook and the Vons employees.
