General Office Clerk III
This program prepares students for work as an administrative assistant or secretary.
This series of courses allows students to gain advanced keyboarding and computer application skills as well as the fundamentals of accounting. Students also learn the format and content of business letters. Successful completion of General Office Clerk II, or the equivalent, is required for entry into this program.
This program is the capstone in a series of three programs in the office clerk area. The core requirements include four courses and one elective. Students must satisfactorily complete all five courses to be awarded a certificate of completion.
Students completing this program will be well prepared to matriculate to a college-level business management program.
Completion of General Office Clerk II or equivalent.
