The HIgh School Collaborative is a joint effort between the Mathematics departments at Glendale College and most of the feeder high schools that serve Glendale College. As of Spring 2012, GCC is currently working with nine different high schools. The mission of the Collaborative is the creation of senior level math classes for the purpose of strengthening the mathematical skill level of graduating seniors in order to maximize their math placement into college. This will enable these students to reach their goals expeditiously and increase their opportunities to complete an AA degree or their transfer requirements. Currently, 42 such classes are being offered and several schools are in the process of developing additional classes.
