Kelly Korras, Mark McMillian, Harry Hull, Hudson Houck, John Cicuto and the 1974 Men’s Cross Country Team were inducted into the Glendale Community College Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday, October 11, 2014 on campus in the Verdugo Gym.
Kelly Korras was an all-conference softball pitcher for GCC in 2008 and continued her collegiate career at the University of Hawaii-Chaminade and later pitched for the South African National Team. McMillian was an All-American for the Vaqueros in football in 1988 and continued his collegiate career at the University of Alabama. He played eight years in the NFL with five teams including the Philadelphia Eagles, New Orleans Saints, and Kansas City Chiefs and led the NFL with 274 yards on interception returns in 1997 and finished his career with 23 interceptions. Hull is a community leader who, a past president of the Foundation and a 20-year member of the board and is a past emcee of the HOF ceremony and banquet and is a former chair of the HOF committee. John Cicuto started at Glendale as an assistant football coach in 1975 and took over as head football coach in 1989 until 2007, when he assumed the role as athletic director for the Vaqueros. Hudson Houck played football at Glendale in 1960 and later at USC where he played on the Trojans 1962 National Championship team. He coached locally at Crescenta Valley High and at USC and spent 29 years in the NFL from 1983 until 2011 as an offensive line coach for the Los Angeles Rams, Dallas Cowboys, Seattle Seahawks and Miami Dolphins and San Diego Chargers. He has coached on three Super Bowl Championship teams and coached four players who have been inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame. The 1974 Men’s Cross country team won the state championship and was the first cross country team in school history to achieve that honor.
