Finding Books
Use the GCC Library Catalog to locate books related to the topics in the question. For example, if you're supposed to researching the Crusades (origins, motives, results, related social and economic problems, etc.), look for books on the Crusades as a subject. See the sample catalog search below. You can also do a search for history sources by entering a country's name followed by the word "history." For example,
- syria history
- egypt history
- china history
Note: If you don't find any results after doing a Subject Browse search, try a Keyword search instead.

You will have to use various sources to locate the necessary information; it's very unlikely that one book will answer all parts of your research question. Look in the Table of Contents and index to identify which sections of the book discuss the origins, results, etc. of the Crusades.
