Subject Headings

The following terms are some of the subject headings that can be used to locate material about philosophy in the online catalog:

 

Finding Books

Use Basic Search in the Online Catalog to do a Subject Browse search to locate books on your topic. When doing a Subject Browse search, use the suggested Subject Headings above or locate other Subject Headings. Enter Subject Headings as they appear.

Example: Knowledge, theory of

Use Advanced (Keyword) Search in the Online Catalog when you're not sure what Subject Headings to use. A keyword search is a more general search.
