Step One
Pick Your Classes
Admission to the Lab is open to all adults. You may enter this year-round program at
any time during the semester. Choose the session you need or would like to attend:
Mornings, Afternoons, Evenings, or Saturdays. Then come into the lab during the session
you would like to attend, and one of the lab staff members will meet with you and get you
started.
You may attend more than one session, but you must register for each session you
attend.
Step Two
Take Assessment Tests
NEW STUDENTS must take a reading and math evaluation before beginning
instruction. This takes only about 90 minutes.
CONTINUING STUDENTS may register immediately.
Step Three
Registration
- You may register during the session you will attend. There is no fee.
- The Morning Session is open 8 AM to 12 Noon Mon. - Fri.
- The Afternoon Session is open from 12 Noon to 4 PM Mon. - Fri.
- The Evening Session is open from 4 PM to 9:30 PM Mon. - Thurs.
- The Saturday Session is open from 9 AM to Noon.
The Developmental Skills Lab is located in Room 116 of the Garfield Campus building at
1122 E. Garfield, Glendale, CA 91205.
