Applicants to nursing programs frequently
are concerned about math skills needed in nursing. The actual skills
needed to be a safe nurse are not highly advanced, but they do require
common sense and a good foundation in mathematics and introductory
algebra. If you can perform the following operations/calculations,
you should be able to successfully navigate the dosage class. If
not, it is suggested that you utilize the services of the Math Lab and/or
purchase a basic review book.
