WebCT Course Template Request
Form
To request a WebCT course template or retrieve
an archived WebCT course complete the information below and click
“Add”. You will be notified when your course is available and provided
with additional instructions via email. Your course will be available
within 2 business days of submitting this form.
Please note that all courses will be moved to the WebCT
active archive area in January of each year. The course is still available
to you, but will not be available to your students. To retrieve a course
from the WebCT Active Archive complete the information below. For more
information on archiving, re-installing and backing up your WebCT course
see the WebCT
Archive Policy page.
You may request a template prior to the semester you are
planning on teaching the course. This is especially helpful if you are
new to WebCT and want to familiarize yourself with the program. If
you are requesting a course for the future, and the ticket number is not
yet available enter "0000" (4 zeros) in the Ticket # section below.
You will be provided with a temporary course template. Once the actual
ticket number becomes available, you will need to contact the WebCT HelpDesk
ehlp@glendale.edu to change the
course name. This should be done before the semester begins.
Note: You must protect students' privacy if you
are posting grades on the internet. To do so you must ask
your students to change their password to something only they know, this
can be done by completing the Password Quiz. By checking “Yes” below,
you will be provided a template that allows for posting of grades. Students
MUST complete the Password Quiz before they are given full access
to the course. If you initially request a template with no grades
and then decide that you do want to post grades, contact the WebCT HelpDeskat
ehlp@glendale.edu to make the change.
