How to Print a WebCT Page

WebCT displays web pages in a series of frames, which divide the web page into separate areas. You have three options when you print a WebCT page.
You can:
1. print the page as you see it on the screen including the WebCT menu bar
2. print only the contents of a selected frame, such as the main contents of the page
3. print the contents of each frame on a separate page


1) To print the page as you see it on the screen:

a) On the File menu, click Print Preview
b) Click the Print Frames drop down list on the Print Preview dialog box toolbar


c) If it is not already selected select As laid out on screen from the list of options


d) You can use the First Page, Previous Page, Next Page, and Last Page arrow buttons on the Print Preview dialog box toolbar to view each page that will print


e) Click the Print button on the Print Preview dialog box toolbar


f) If you only wish to print some of the pages you can type in a range of pages to print in the Pages text box in the Page Range area on the Print dialog box


g) Click the Print button on the Print dialog box


2) To print only the contents of a selected frame do one of the following:

a) On the File menu, click Print Preview
b) Click the Print Frames drop down list on the Print Preview dialog box toolbar


c) Select Only the selected frame from the list of options


d) You can use the First Page, Previous Page, Next Page, and Last Page arrow buttons on the Print Preview dialog box toolbar to view each page that will print


e) Click the Print button on the Print Preview dialog box toolbar


f) If you only wish to print some of the pages you can type in a range of pages to print in the Pages text box in the Page Range area on the Print dialog box


g) Click the Print button on the Print dialog box


OR
a) right-click the frame you wish to print
b) select Print on the menu


c) If you only wish to print some of the pages you can type in a range of pages to print in the Pages text box of the Page Range area on the Print dialog box


d) click the Print button on the Print dialog box

3) To print each frame on a separate page:

a) On the File menu, click Print Preview
b) Click the Print Frames drop down list on the Print Preview dialog box toolbar


c) Select All frames individually from the list of options


d) You can use the First Page, Previous Page, Next Page, and Last Page arrow buttons on the Print Preview dialog box toolbar to view each page that will print


e) Click the Print button on the Print Preview dialog box toolbar


f) If you only wish to print some of the pages you can type in a range of pages to print in the Pages text box in the Page Range area on the Print dialog box


g) Click the Print button on the Print dialog box
