System Requirements

You can access your online classes from any computer located in one of Glendale Community College's two computer labs.

To access your online classes from home or any other off-campus site you will need to have the following:

  • A computer with Internet access
  • A 58K modem or higher recommended
  • Netscape 4.7x, except 4.78 and 4.79 (PC & Mac)
  • Internet Explorer 5.0 to 5.5, except 5.5 Service Pack 1 (PC)
  • Internet Explorer 5.0 (Mac)
  • Internet Explorer 6.0 Service Pack 1
  • An email account

Some browser settings can impact your use of WebCT. If you have not changed any default settings, you should be OK. WebCT requires that your browser be Java enabled, it must accept cookies, and your cache should be set to always reload pages. We do not store any personal information about you in the cookie file, it is simply used by the server to maintain consistency from page to page. Please review the Browser Settings page if you need help changing your browser's settings.
