Line of Responsibility – Administrative Operations

 

A.                  A.  The organizational chart (2130) shows lines of administrative (line) and
             professional (staff) responsibility.  As such, it is designed to be called upon
             when needed to clarify staff relationships.  Missing are the dozens of criss-
             crossing lines of subordinate responsibility and of communication and
             cooperation which characterize district responsibility shown on the chart.  It
             should be noted that all lines of communication are bi-directional.

B.         B.  All college operations will be carried out in accordance with the policies
            established by the governing board and in accordance with the
            Administrative Regulations established for the college district.
