Run an assessment cycle on one SLO for one course in every department or service unit by the end of Fall 2007.  Record your cycle on the required reporting template, which is found on the homepage.  There is an optional worksheet that you may also find helpful.  Submit the required reporting template to the Office of Research and Planning at ekarpp@glenale.edu.

Write the Student Learning Outcomes for all of your courses and services by the end of Spring 2008.  Instead of starting from scratch, look at your current exit standards, which may easily be adapted to SLO's.  Record your SLO's on the core competency alignment grid, which is located in the toolbox link on the homepage.  Include your SLO's on all syllabi.  Submit the grid to the Office of Research and Planning.

Let Alice Mecom know as you complete each step so that your work can be included on the campus inventory chart, again found on the home page.

Also, let your chair know as you complete each course or unit SLO so that they can keep their own inventories.
