Student Learning Outcomes and Assessment Cycle (SLOAC)

Workshops, Spring 2007

The following workshops will be offered in two-hour presentations.  You may choose to attend the first hour, the second hour, or both:

        First Hour - Back by Demand - "How to Write an SLO for your Course"

            Please bring the official course outline for your course and we recommend bringing a colleague who also teaches the course.

        Second Hour - New Offering - "Choosing Assessment Tools for your Course"

            We will develop a simple matrix to align your written SLO's with the assessments that you use throughout the semester.

The workshops will take place on the following dates:   

Tuesday, April 3:  2-4 pm, AD242

Wednesday, April 11:  3-5 pm, AD217

Thursday, April 26:  1-3 pm, AD242

Friday, May 4:  10 am - 12 pm, CS177
