PRINCIPLES AND PROCEDURES OF THE JUSTICE SYSTEM

1-3 Units

 

Administration of Justice 110 presents an in-depth study of the role and responsibilities of each segment within the administration of justice system: Law enforcement, judicial, corrections. A past, present, and future exposure to each sub-system procedure from initial entry to final disposition and the relationship each segment maintains with its system members. Special emphasis is on the judicial processes. Lecture 3 hours.

 

Prerequisite: Administration of Justice 101. (Administration of Justice 101 may be taken concurrently.)

 

Note: This course may be taken 2 times; a maximum of 6 units may be earned.
