Architect? A Candid Guide to the Profession
Author: Roger K. Lewis Publisher: The MIT Press
Comments: As the title states, this book gives
an open and honest view of the architectural
profession. Not only does the author give his view
on the profession, but also architectural education
at the Bachelor's and Master's levels. Although the
subject of architecture is not presented in the most
pleasant light, it does give a true view of what an
architectural student will expect on their journey
from college to the field of professional practice.

Harnessing AutoCAD 2008
Author: Thomas
Stellman Publisher: Autodesk Press Comments:
A good reference book that gives a
tremendous amount of information about the AutoCAD
2008 design software. Covers both 2D and 3D
commands. Contains some tutorials but not a good way
to learn the software. This book is good as a
supplement to any CAD class.

101 Things I Learned in Architecture School
Author: Matthew Frederick Publisher: MIT Press Comments:
The title is true to the book. Gives a list,
diagrams and a brief explanation of 101 important
(at least to the author) things that are important
in the field of Architectural education and
practice. Humorous at times, but also very
informative.
