INTRODUCTION TO
MICROPROCESSORS—DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY

Electronics and Computer Technology 124 introduces the
characteristics, architecture and operation of 8-bit microprocessors. This
course also introduces assembly language programming and peripheral interfacing
techniques of single board computers. Practical labs reinforce skills in programming
and interfacing techniques. Lecture 3 hours.
Corequisite: Electronics and
Computer Technology 251.
Prerequisite:
Electronics
and Computer Technology 103 or equivalent.
Note: This course may not
be taken for credit by students who have completed Electronics and Computer
Technology 104 and 203.
