While Melissa was performing as Judy Turner in A Chorus Line on Broadway, she trained with Blair Cutting, a former student and protégée of Michael Chekhov’s in the Chekhov acting technique.  She was also trained and mentored by Tony Greco, a protégé of Lee Strasberg.  With extensive experience in both theatre and dance, Melissa is developing several projects where the two art forms intersect.  Melissa received her BA from the University of California at Irvine and her MA from California State University Long Beach. In addition, she completed a two year conservatory program at The Actor’s Space in New York City.
