UC Davis Transfer Admission Guarantee Information

        UC Davis TAG application form

  • To be eligible, complete 30 UC transferable units with at 2.8 – 3.1 GPA depending on major.  

  • Completed contract must be submitted to UC Davis in September for the following year

  • Complete 60 UC transferable units and appropriate major coursework to receive guaranteed admission.

  • Former UC students (who left in unsatisfactory standing) are not eligible.

  • Community College Counselor Signature Required - Please See Transfer Center

 

UC Irvine TAG (Transfer Admission Guarantee) Information

        UC Irvine TAG application form

  • Meet minimum UC Admission requirements and an overall 2.7 GPA (depending on major)

  • Students must complete the UC application entirely, print it out and complete the online TAG form,

            make an appointment with UC Irvine Admission Counselor at GCC or at Irvine at (949) 824-6703

 

UC Merced - Transfer Admission Guarantee Information

  • Complete 27 UC transferable units and have a 2.7 GPA at the time you submit the TAG Form

  • Application for Fall should be submitted by September 1st through November 20th

 

UC Riverside TAG (Transfer Admission Guarantee) Information

  • All course work must be completed at a California Community College

  • Complete a contract with a UCR transfer counselor at GCC or at the UCR campus.

  • You must have 30 transferable semester units when you complete a contract

  • Must have transferable English and math complete when you complete your contract

  • TAG is not available to International Students

 

UC San Diego - Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) 2009 - 2010 Information

  • If you indicate TAG and IGETC on your UCSD application, you will be guarantee admission if you meet the TAG requirements.

  • Must have at least 30 UC transferable units at a California Community College

  • Be currently enrolled at a California Community College

  • Must have a cumulative 3.0 UC GPA by the end of FALL 2008 and maintain a 3.0 GPA through the end of Spring 2009

  • Both UC English and UC Math

 

UC Santa Barbara Transfer Admission Guarantee Information

  • Submit common UC application for Fall admission November 1 – 30. No Special contract necessary.

  • You must be a California Community College Student

  • You must complete the requirements as specified on the UCSB TAG criteria sheet, either for the College of Letters and Science or for the College of Engineering.

  • Other than the UC application, UCSB does not require any additional paperwork to qualify for the UCSB TAG agreement

 

UC Santa Cruz Transfer Admission Guarantee Information

  • Complete a contract with a GCC counselor between August 1 – October 15

  • Must have 30 UC transferable units completed with a 3.0 GPA

  • Have less than 20 units completed at a 4 year university

  • Be currently enrolled at a California Community College

  • Community College Counselor Signature Required - Please See Transfer Center

 

CSU Los Angeles – TAG (Transfer Admission Guarantee)

  • Complete 60 transferable units with 2.0 GPA or 2.4 for Non-Residents

  • Complete at least 30 units of General Education either the CSU Breadth or IGETC

  • Complete the Golden 4 (English 101, Speech 101, College Level Math, and a Critical Thinking course).

  • No restriction except for the impacted Nursing major

 

CSU Northridge – TAG (Transfer Admission Guarantee)

  • Complete 60 transferable units with 2.0 GPA or 2.4 for Non-Residents

  • Complete at least 30 units of General Education either the CSU Breadth or IGETC

  • Complete the Golden 4 (English 101, Speech 101, English 102, 104, 118, Humanities 105, 110, Philosophy 117, Speech 100, 103, 104, Transferable Math course)

  • Complete contract with GCC counselor after 15 units at least 1 year prior to transferring

  • Only good for majors that are not impacted.
