In the modern age of technology and innovation, training in hard sciences, mathematics, physics or engineering is proving to be more critical than ever. New industries are forming due to discoveries that are afoot every day; however, commercialization and monetization of those discoveries lies within the purview of law and the business arena. Thus, the marriage of STEAM and law is incredibly important in fueling our economy and furthering human ingenuity. It is for this reason that a foundational basis is needed in the so called STEAM fields to aid the legal professional in bringing about these changes that intimately affect our day-to-day lives.
