El Vaquero is ONLINE

El Vaquero is still publishing stories online at: elvaq.com

Dear GCC,

Please note that while El Vaquero Newspaper has suspended print newspapers due to COVID-19 realities, we are still publishing stories online at: elvaq.com

We have already published several stories recently.

Please check our elvaq.com page regularly.

WHEN ARE YOU PUBLISHING IN PRINT AGAIN?

We are also hoping to publish another magazine, a showcase, so that our awesome students learn design skills remotely. So stay tuned, as that may drop in June or over the summer.

You can read our previous magazine, a product of El Vaquero Newspaper, here: http://bit.ly/GCCInsider

You can read our last newspaper issue, from March 11, here: http://bit.ly/March11ElVaq

SOCIAL MEDIA

We encourage you to follow our social media channels:

Twitter: https://twitter.com/gcc_elvaq?lang=en
Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/el.vaquero.gcc/?hl=en
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/GCCElVaquero/

Please note our students tend to be far more active on Instagram and Twitter than on Facebook.

About El Vaquero Newspaper and the Journalism Program: We are the only news publication on campus and the project of the Journalism program. Our views are independent and are not necessarily those of the campus or its employees. Views published on El Vaquero News' social media or our news website don't necessarily reflect the views of the Journalism Department. Like any newspaper, you have various viewpoints shared in the spirit of the publication being a marketplace of ideas. Students are working to fulfill assignments, learn the craft of journalism, and safely report while adhering to local and state guidelines.
