Dimitrios I. Synodinos was born in Greece and migrated to the United States in 1997 to pursue a career in higher education.  Dimitrios served in the Hellenic Army from 1995 to 1997 and was honorably discharged with the rank of Sergeant Major. 

Dimitrios I. Synodinos served Norco College as the Interim Dean of Student Life, the Student Activities Coordinator and the Faculty Advisor to the Associated Students of Norco College (ASNC).  Dimitrios had been a member of the RCCD since 2005 after earning his A.A. degree in Business Administration from Glendale Community College and his B.A. and M.A. in Political Science from California State University Northridge.

Dimitrios has also been an adjunct instructor of Political Science in both the Glendale and the Riverside Community College Districts for the past 10 years. He remains as an adjunct instructor at Glendale College where he continues to teach the Introductory Political Science course (Poli. Sci. 101). His emphasis is on American Government, International Relations, and Political Theory.  Dimitrios was a Congressional intern for the Honorable Mr. Adam Schiff and for the Superior Courts in Van Nuys, CA, as well as the Student Body President and Student Trustee for the Glendale Community College District.

Dimitrios joined the Los Angeles Trade Technical College family in January 2016 and he is the Associate Dean of Student Life supervising Veterans’ Services, the Associated Students Organization (ASO) and the Inter Club Council (ICC), overseeing Discipline and the enforcement of the Student Code of Conduct, leading the Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT), as well as the implementation of Commencement and college wide events.
