I have a BA in Psychology with a minor in Gender Studies and a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), both from the University of Southern California. I have a Postgraduate Certificate in Couples and Sex Therapy from UCLA, as well as a Certificate in Sexuality Education from the University of Michigan. I am certified as a Sex Therapist through the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT).
My teaching interests lie in the areas of the psychology of sex, gender, relationships, and sexuality. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been a practicing therapist for more than 20 years, working with people of all ages, genders, sexualities, and lifestyles, and their partners and chosen families to create connection in their lives.
During my downtime, I enjoy hanging out with my husband and son, our dog, and two cats. I usually can be found with a romance novel in my hand, because I like stories with unapologetic happily ever afters.
