ABOUT US

The Nursing Department’s primary purpose is to prepare students to become entry-level Registered Nurses (RNs). We work together with GCC’s mission to give students the knowledge and hands-on experiences they need to find jobs and reach their full potential. The college and Nursing Department are dedicated to helping students grow personally and build important skills for today’s workplaces. We do this by fostering a supportive, challenging, and inclusive environment that celebrates diversity, respects individual differences, and empowers all students to achieve their educational and career goals.

The Glendale Community College ADN nursing program at Glendale Community College meets the state education requirements for a registered nursing license in the state of California. Glendale Community College has not determined if the Associates Degree Nursing program at Glendale Community College meets the state education requirements in any other state, any U.S. Territory, or the District of Columbia.

The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) has resources that may be helpful.
