What are the Social Sciences? The Social Sciences represent areas of interest that study and research human society and social relationships. In other words, we study how people behave and influence the world around us. We encourage you to explore the 11 different departments that constitute the Social Sciences here at Glendale College, as well as investigate our learning pathway, People, Power, and Perspectives. We have multiple degrees and/or certificates waiting just for you.
