CSE offers short courses and workshops designed to help you learn a new skill, pursue a hobby, and meet new friends! Our program has quality and substance, our teachers are top-notch, and our fees are reasonable. All of our campus locations are located in and around the Glendale, California area.

What is Community Services Education?

Community Services Education is a program of non-credit, fee-based classes and activities designed to serve individuals with educational goals that do not require college credit. Community Services Education classes are offered in addition to the College's instructional program and are not academic equivalents of regular credit classes or prerequisites for the traditional college program. This catalog is published four times per year: Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer.

The GCC Garfield Campus is located at the corner of Garfield Avenue and Adams Street, about 4 blocks below Colorado Blvd., between Chevy Chase Drive and Adams St., in Glendale. Exit the 134 Freeway at Glendale Ave. and proceed South on Glendale Ave. Take Glendale Ave. to Colorado Blvd. and turn left. Proceed to Adams St. and turn onto Adams. Take Adams to Garfield Ave. and turn left.

Take the 134 Fwy. to the Glendale 2 Fwy. North. Exit at Mountain St. Turn left onto Mountain, go over the bridge and enter the first parking lot on your right.

Located about 6 blocks above Glenoaks Blvd., west of Pacific Avenue and east of Highland Avenue. Exit the 134 Freeway at Pacific Ave. Go North on Pacific Ave. to Glenwood Road. Turn left onto Glenwood, then left onto Concord Street. Take Concord Street to South Street and turn right. Take South Street to Virginia, and turn right on Virginia and look for an alley entrance on your right, just below the playground. Turn right into the alley and you will see the parking area.

Located in La Crescenta, Clark Magnet School is located five blocks north of Foothill Blvd., and is easily reached from the 210 freeway. Exit the 210 freeway at Pennsylvania Ave., head north to Foothill Blvd, and turn west (left) until you reach New York Avenue. Head north on New York Avenue to 4747 New York. Located in Glendale, Hoover High School is on Glenwood Road. The nearest major cross street is Pacific Avenue, to the east.
