Scheduled Maintenance Notice:
The PeopleSoft student system (this includes MyGCC and schedule of classes) will be unavailable from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 24 due to scheduled system maintenance.
- Apply to Continuing Education (Noncredit) by completing the easy, online application below.
STEP 1. APPLICATION
Complete the entire application including your e-mail address if you have one.
Once application is submitted, you will receive notification of GCC student ID# with instructions by email within 3 days (if no email is listed, a letter will be submitted at a later date). If you have not received your ID, please contact the counseling office at ext. 5055
STEP 2. ASSESSMENT - Sign up for and complete an assessment, if you are one of the following:
ESL Student- Garfield Campus TR200 or Verdugo (Main) campus SF 112
High School Diploma (HSD) Student- Garfield Campus MP 221
GED or HiSET student- Garfield Campus MP 221
Adult Basic Education (ABE) Students- Garfield Campus MP221
NOTE: If you are an Office Business Technology (OBT), Parent Education or Lifelong Learning student you do not need to take an assessment.
STEP 3. COUNSELING - New Student Orientations and Student Education Plans (SEPs)
New Student Orientation
Sign up in MP221 for a New Student Orientation time and date. Attend a New Student Orientation
Student Education Plan
Sign up in MP221 for an appointment with an Academic and/or Career Counselor to complete a Student Educational Plan.
Attend your SEP appointment in MP 221. (Bring your assessment test results with you if you have them).
Walk in counseling also available and welcomed!
STEP 4. REGISTRATION - Register for your class online through MyGCC by using your GCC ID# and password.
Go to www.glendale.edu/ce
Click on "REGISTER" Click on "MyGCC"
Enter your Student ID# and Password
Click "Student Center"
Enter the class ticket number. Click "Enter"
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your registration.
STEP 5. Attend class and invite friends and family to Glendale Community College’s Continuing Education program!
If you have problems filling out the application or enrolling in a class, please come to the Garfield Campus front office, the career/counseling office at MP221 or to the class of your interest and speak with the instructor.
Application information is available in several languages:
Armenian, Farsi, Spanish, and Korean. You must fill out the application in English.
If you have not attended Continuing Education (noncredit) classes for more than a year, you must complete a new application. When you apply, you will need an email account to get your registration information sooner (check yahoo.com, gmail.com, hotmail.com, or others to get a free email account).
