Citizenship     

The Garfield Campus offers English as a Second Language Citizenship classes for those who want to learn more about the history and government of the United States and prepare for the oral interview citizenship test. The Citizenship Center is located in Room 105 in the Garfield Campus. Information regarding citizenship eligibility, application procedures and deadlines, legal referrals, INS forms needed for naturalization, photographs for INS application or passport, typing and preparation of the INS 400 form, and assistance in preparing for the exam are all services obtained in the Citizenship Center. California Training Benefits (CTB)

The Employment Development Department (EDD) allows eligible Unemployment Insurance (UI) customers to further their education, upgrade their skills, and/or learn a new trade to be more competitive in today's labor market while receiving UI benefits. Check your eligibility with EDD.

The Garfield Campus is listed on the California's Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL). The following programs are offered:

Workforce Investment & Opportunity Act (WIOA)

Participants are selected and referred to the Garfield Campus generally by a CareerOneStop Center, for a training program to upgrade skills, and/or learn a new trade to be more competitive in today's labor market. Check your eligibility.

The Garfield Campus is listed on the California's Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL). The cost of each program is $5,000.00, and the following programs are offered:
