Student Equity

We, at Student Equity, value Black culture and Black lives. It’s times like these that we must fight even harder to support one another and confirm our values as individuals and as a collective unit. There is no doubt that racism is embedded into the fabric of our country. Our goal moving forward is to engage and inform the campus community about Black culture and continue dedicating our work to supporting our Black/ African American students.

We value each and every single one of you and we hope that our principles and morals carry through in our efforts. We aspire to make you proud to be a part of our campus community and we will work collectively to support you and your success at GCC.

Our equity counselors will continue meeting with our students through phone appointments.

If you would like to make a phone appointment, please call our office and leave a request.

If you have any other questions or need assistance, you may reach us by phone.

Please contact us by calling 818-240-1000 Ext. 3520.
Leave a detailed message, with your name, GCC ID number, and your best contact phone number and we will get back to you.

As a result of the changes we are facing due to COVID-19, the Student Equity Office is now serving students virtually.
