Student Equity Programs

Glendale College’s student equity plan focuses on increasing access, course completion, ESL and basic skills completion, degrees, certificates and transfer for all students as measured by success indicators linked to the CCC Student Success Scorecard, and other measures developed in consultation with local colleges.


 The Fall 2019 Learning Communities application is now CLOSED. Check back soon for the Spring 2020 application!


 

LEARNING COMMUNITIES

  • Black Scholars
    The mission of Black Scholars is to help African American college students achieve their academic and career goals by increasing their retention, persistence, and graduation rates.

  • Guardian Scholars
    Guardian Scholars is a supportive network committed to empowering current and former foster youth to achieve their academic, career, and personal goals.

  • La Comunidad
    Through La Comunidad, Latino and Latina college students receive assistance with their efforts to earn a certificate, graduate with an Associate’s degree, or transfer to a four-year institution.
