Sweet Treats with Nishat

Come learn to make chocolate covered strawberries with Nishat Hamid, owner of Cherry On Top Cake, as she talks about her cultural influences as a Desi American! This event is part of a series presented for Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.

PURPOSE
The purpose of cultural programming at GCC is to engage students, faculty, staff, and administration on the current political and social environment which impacts the campus community and the populations which we serve. The Cultural Diversity Coordinator employs an equity framework to organize programming that aims to be responsive to current events and student needs, organizes events which celebrate diversity, and plans around the cultural calendar recognized by the National Education Association.
