Vienna and Prague Summer 2026
This 2-week program explores the culture and art of two of Europe’s greatest cities. The program begins in Vienna, where we will explore its world-leading architecture and museums. A train trip will take us to Prague and its breathtaking Castle, overlooking the picturesque old town.
Students will enroll Art History 48 and Student Development 48, each one unit. GCC Professor Emily Haraldson will bring her experience and passion to the Art History class, which will include field excursions to the world-famous Kunsthistorische and Belvedere museums. GCC Professor Nare Garibyan will teach the Student Development class, in which students will explore themes of identity, representation (and misrepresentation), and authenticity as they travel through sites including Prague Castle and Schonbrunn Palace.
Current and former GCC students, as well as their friends and family, are all welcome to attend!
