Glendale Community College has partnered with Herbert Hoover High School in the Early College Academy (ECA). ECA is an innovative way for high school students to earn both a high school diploma and complete two-years of college in the time it takes to go to high school—saving the student both time and money.
For GUSD resident students wishing to enroll in the ECA Academy, whose resident school is not Hoover High School, an Intra-District Permit is required. For students living outside GUSD attendance boundaries wishing to attend the ECA academy at Hoover High School an Inter-District Permit is required. Upon admission to the ECA, families must apply for a permit through GUSD Student Services Department.
- Tuition – WAIVED!
- Student Fees – WAIVED
- Textbooks – WAIVED!
The ECA allows students to save time and money by completing high school A-G requirements and general education college requirements at the same time!
