ECAP (Early College Acceptance Program)

The objective of the ECAP (Early College Acceptance Program) is to ease the transition from high school to college by guiding incoming freshmen through the matriculation process. The first step of this program is to aid students complete their online Glendale College application.

Once the students have applied to the college and have received their GCC ID number, they will be able to come to the campus as a group with other seniors in their school to complete the English assessment test.

Furthermore, the program allows students to participate in academic counseling and introduces them to services, staff members and programs on campus, which helps them, develop as well-rounded college students.

The program has helped numerous high schools in the Los Angeles, Hollywood, Sun Valley, Burbank and Glendale areas. Spring of 2015, the program aided over 550 students enroll and familiarize themselves with the college and the different programs that are offered.
