This certificate is designed to train students in the principles of Federal and California state income taxes. Students will develop a working knowledge of Federal and State Income tax law as it applies to individuals and businesses.

The Certificate is granted to students who have completed at least 12 semester units of the required courses at Glendale Community College. All courses must be completed with a grade of “C” or better, or a “P” grade.

Program Learning Outcomes: Upon completion of this program, students will be able to demonstrate ability to read and understand the contents of a corporation’s annual report; prepare an individual tax return; and develop a working knowledge of Federal and State Income tax law as it applies to individuals.
