CCCapply ID.me Verification: California Community Colleges works with ID.me to verify the identity of students who apply to California community colleges using CCCapply. This streamlines and secures both the admissions and financial aid process while also safeguarding student information.

Choosing "verify later" or opting out of ID.me could delay the verification process. Speed up enrollment, verify your identity with ID.me during the time of application.

  • Log into your MyGCC student account and look for the Orientation tile
  • You will be directed to Canvas showing a course titled "New Student Orientation"
  • The new student orientation is a program designed to guide you through your first semester, plan you coursework and register in classes, and prepare you to become a successful student at Glendale Community College
  • You will also learn how to access and use a variety of academic and support services designed to ease the transition into a college environment

Do you have a disability (ex: IEP, medical documentation, etc)?
Contact Center for Students with Disabilities to meet with a counselor glendale.edu/CSD.

  • Connect with a counselor for your Student Education Plan (SEP)
  • New students will be able to discuss and set-up their short-term, first semesters ed plan (abbreviate SEP) during a drop-in counseling meeting without an appointment
