About the Bond Measures

Measure GCC

In November 2024, Glendale-area voters overwhelmingly approved Bond Measure GCC, securing a historic $600 million investment in our college’s future. Thanks to this commitment, we will be able to make essential infrastructure and safety upgrades, enhance accessibility for students and employees with disabilities, and equip our programs with the technology and tools needed to prepare graduates for in-demand careers.

Key items Measure GCC will address:

  • Repairing aging infrastructure, including gas and sewer lines, plumbing, and outdated electrical and computer systems
  • Providing equipment and technology to support critical career pathways, including nursing, firefighting, law enforcement, and engineering
  • Improving access for students and employees with disabilities
  • Improving earthquake and fire safety and removing hazardous materials
